Walkies at Rockbeare is a secure dog exercise field on the outskirts of Exeter. Our three-acre field provides a secure, private, and self-contained space for you to exercise your dog safely off the lead, either in a group or on their own in the beautiful Devon countryside!
There are countless reasons that any dog might benefit from the facilities a secure dog walking field offers; dogs with poor recall, newly adopted dogs, reactive dogs, boisterous dogs and those that simply enjoy their own company.

Fully Secure Space
Set across three acres, our dog exercise field is surrounded by a 5ft tall, high tensile steel fence, to give your dog a safe and fully enclosed space to be in.

To suit the needs of you and your pet, you can book short slots of up to 30 minutes – perfect for quick walks – or longer sessions of up to 60 minutes for training sessions.

About our Dog Exercise Field
We aim to provide a space for dogs and their owners to play and enjoy themselves in a stress-free environment. If you need an enclosed space to allow your dog to roam without a lead or muzzle, or need a safe and secure area to work on their recall ability, then Walkies at Rockbeare is the perfect place for you!
The exercise field is perfect for sensitive or nervous dogs who have had bad experiences with other dogs and can no longer socialise safely, or dogs who have a poor recall and cannot be let off-lead and relied upon to come back.
Users of the field will have exclusive use during their session so they can relax in the knowledge that their dog is safe, secure, able to run free and play without being disturbed. The field is perfect for puppies and rescue dogs, or anyone wishing to train their dog off the lead in an enclosed area.
About the Field & Your Session
Set across three acres, our dog walking field is secure, enclosed, and offers exclusive use for up to six dogs, in sessions of 30 or 60 minutes. Sessions are available from 7am until late, 7 days per week, so you can book them around work, school or other commitments at a time that suits you. The field is completely surrounded by a 5ft high fence to ensure that your dog is safely contained and unable to escape from the area, either by jumping over the fence, wriggling underneath it or squeezing through. We have water bowl for your pooch, a small shelter in the field so you can keep out of the rain, and on-site, on-road parking. Please note, you will need to bring water, toys and poo bags with you, as these are not supplied.
