Walkies at Rockbeare and Walkies at Clyst St. George are secure dog exercise fields on the outskirts of Exeter. Our three-acre fields provide a secure, private, and self-contained space for you to exercise your dog safely off the lead, either in a group or on their own, in the beautiful Devon countryside!
There are countless reasons that any dog might benefit from the facilities a secure dog walking field offers; dogs with poor recall, newly adopted dogs, reactive dogs, boisterous dogs and those that simply enjoy their own company.

Fully Secure Space
Set across three acres, our secure dog exercise fields are surrounded by a 5ft-6ft tall, high tensile steel fence, to give your dog a safe and fully enclosed space to be in.
Convenient Location
Both dog walking fields are located near Exeter Airport and the city of Exeter, approximately 10 minutes by car from Exeter Airport and 20 minutes from Exeter City Centre – with Rockbeare within easy reach of the A30 and Clyst St. George just off the M5.

Our secure, dog-walking field hire, is cost effective and affordable, with a sliding pay scale depending on the length of session and the number of dogs you’ll be bringing with you.
Private, Sole Use
All of our sessions give you the exclusive use of our secure dog exercise area, so that you and your pet are the only ones in the field during your booked time slot.
Flexible Sessions
To suit the needs of you and your pet, you can book short slots of up to 30 minutes – perfect for quick walks – or longer sessions of up to 60 minutes for training sessions.

About Our Dog Exercise Fields
We aim to provide a space for dogs and their owners to play and enjoy themselves in a stress-free environment. If you need an enclosed space to allow your dog to roam without a lead or muzzle, or need a safe and secure area to work on their recall ability, then Walkies at Dog Walking Fields are the perfect place for you!
The exercise fields are perfect for sensitive or nervous dogs who have had bad experiences with other dogs and can no longer socialise safely, or dogs who have a poor recall and cannot be let off-lead and relied upon to come back.
Users of the fields will have exclusive use during their session so they can relax in the knowledge that their dog is safe, secure, able to run free and play without being disturbed. The fields are perfect for puppies and rescue dogs, or anyone wishing to train their dog off the lead in an enclosed area.
About the Fields & Your Session
Rules for Visiting
When you visit our dog exercise fields, please ensure that you agree with and abide by the following rules of the field:
Visits to the fields are strictly by appointment only.
Remain in your vehicle until the previous session has finished.
The field is used at your own risk.
You are responsible for your dog’s behaviour.
Dogs brought to the field must be wormed and properly vaccinated.
A person over the age of 18 must supervise the dog at all times.
Dog poo must be cleaned up immediately and taken away with you at the end of your time slot. Any persons found not cleaning and removing dog waste will be banned.
Any litter must be taken away with you at the end of the session.
